Livinglala matches clients with the right designer for online interior design projects. We prepare each client’s brief and introduce them to an architect or interior designer whose style and experience suit the project. Architects and interior designers, including recent graduates, can apply to join.
The work is done fully online, with no building work: a design concept for the room, covering layout, colours and style, with furniture ideas to match. It’s for people who are short on time but still want a home that feels uniquely theirs.

The fee
You set your own design fee, and the client pays you directly. We charge a fixed €99 on your first project with each new client. There’s no fee on further projects with the same client.

We send you briefs for projects that match your style and experience. If one suits you, we set up a short video call for you to meet the client. Afterwards, you let us know if you’ll take the project on, and we share the client’s contact details.

Listing your studio | Expert profile
Is expert profile and listing my studio really free?
Yes. Creating your expert profile, adding projects and showing your contact details costs you nothing. Clients who contact you through your profile don’t pay us anything either.
What photos can I add to my profile?
Photos of built spaces, taken on site. Please don't use 3D renders or AI-generated images to show completed projects.
My studio is already on Livinglala. How can I claim my profile?
We feature some studios whose work we admire, using information they’ve made public. To claim yours, send us a message through the contact form (https://www.livinglala.com/contact) from your studio’s email address. Once we’ve confirmed it’s you, you can update your details, add projects or remove photos. It’s free. If you’d rather not be featured, tell us and we’ll remove your profile.
Can I list my studio as an expert profile and be a design partner?
Yes. You can do both.

Online interior design partners
What’s the difference between an expert profile and a design partner?
An expert profile is your free public page. Clients browse your projects and contact you directly. Livinglala provides the space to show your work and isn’t involved beyond that. Becoming a design partner is by application. We select architects and interior designers who want to take on online interior design projects through Livinglala, and propose projects based on location preference, style, budget and scope. For each project, you receive a brief and, after a short intro call with the client, decide whether to take it on. Each partner sets their own design fee, and the client pays the partner directly. You can have an expert profile, be a design partner without a public listing, or opt for both.
What does it cost to be a design partner?
Joining is free. When you take on a new client we’ve introduced to you, we charge a fixed €99 per qualified lead, not a percentage of your design fee. There’s no fee for further projects with the same client.
What counts as a qualified lead?
A new client with a completed brief, including verified contact details, room size, budget and photos. After a short intro call, you let us know whether you’ll take the project on. You’re only charged if you say yes.
What if I work with the same client again?
There’s no fee for further projects with the same client. The fee applies to your first project with each new client.
Who can apply?
Architects and interior designers at any stage of their career. Send us your portfolio, including built, concept or study projects, and we’ll set up a chat.
Can I apply if I’m not based in Italy?
Yes. Projects are fully online, so you can work from anywhere.
What kind of projects will I receive?
Online interior design for one room or a few rooms, such as a living room, bedroom or home office. You create a design concept covering layout, colours and style, with furniture ideas to match. Projects don’t include building work. If a client needs a kitchen or bathroom, you can quote it separately. Renders are optional, and you set their price.
Do I have to recommend products listed on Livinglala?
No. You’re free to recommend any products and brands. Furniture choices are entirely up to you.
How do I get paid by the client?
The client pays you directly, under your own invoice and payment terms.
Who do I sign the contract with?
With the client. We provide a contract template you can use.
How is the Livinglala fee invoiced?
At the end of each month, we send you one invoice for the leads you took on that month.
Do I have to accept every project?
No. You can decline any project.
