We believe in fair and transparent feedback for both homeowners and professionals.
Two types of feedback
Professional ratings
Professionals are rated on only what they can control:
- Quality of work: Craftsmanship, attention to detail, and final results
- Communication: Responsiveness, clarity, and professionalism
Project outcomes
For each project, homeowners share:
- Timeline deviation: How much the project deviated from schedule
- Budget deviation: How much the final cost differed from budget
- Satisfaction ratings: Design and quality satisfaction (1-5 stars)
Why keep them separate?
Home renovation projects involve many factors outside a professional's control:
- Permit delays
- Weather conditions
- Materials issues
- Client-requested changes
- Unforeseen structural issues
- Coordination with other professionals
We don't penalize professionals for things they can't control. Instead, we provide transparent project outcome data to help future clients set realistic expectations.
Review moderation
All reviews go through a moderation process to ensure:
- Reviews are from actual clients
- Content is respectful and constructive
- No spam or fake reviews
Professionals can respond to reviews to provide context or address concerns.

Reviews can only be submitted after a project is marked as complete.
Rate the professional
