Iconic Italian lighting brand Foscarini is unveiling its breathtaking 2025 collection at Milano Design Week, exploring the timeless charm of the chandelier, reinterpreting the archetype of the traditional overhead lamp with arms in a contemporary approach.
Modern Chandeliers Reimagined
Foscarini's new interpretations, based on collaboration with 6 designers, bring this classic lighting form into the modern home:
ÉTOILE by Dordoni Studio: combines rigor and refinement, features elegant glass cylinders that create sophisticated light for your dining room or entryway
ASTERIA by Alberto and Francesco Meda: A contemporary suspension lamp that reduces the chandelier to its essence in pursuit of a synthesis of function and décor.
ALLUMETTE by Francesca Lanzavecchia: means “matchstick”, a new chandelier that plays with lightness and presence, the softness of the textile cables and the rigid geometry of the arms featuring organic forms and asymmetrical balance that make artistic statements.
TILIA by Francesca Lanzavecchia: From the Latin for linden, Tilia has been inspired by the spontaneous, fluid growth of natural form. It is a sculptural representation of the invisible rules that allow natural structures to develop in space: river deltas, the veins of leaves, coral reefs.. A metal structure from which branches emanate with different forms and lengths, culminating in diffusers of opaline frosted borosilicate glass that emit a soft, warm and enveloping glow.
PANAREA, ALICUDI, FILICUDI by Alberto and Francesco Meda: A sustainable collection from recycled lava, transformed into a series of suspension lamps that respect the raw organic property of the material, resulting in uniqueness in every single lamp.
FIELDS by Garcia Cumini: Based on essential geometry that creates a distinctive visual and graphic effect, the new version of Fields features more elegant proportions and a slimmer structure. Fields transmits diffused and reflected warm LED light, can be installed both horizontally or vertically.
HABITUS by Andrea Anastasio: Wall and floor lamps that combine artisanal glass bead embroidery with contemporary design
TORCHE by Dordoni Studio: An applique that mixes simplicity, functional quality and decoration, based on an original design by Rodolfo Dordoni for the brand
APLOMB MINI WALL by Lucidi Pevere: The wall version of the iconic Aplomb, featuring the rich materiality of concrete, ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
